Christian Smith

Episode #220

Christian Smith fought hard to overcome his addiction and now lives a life of helping others who are struggling with the same.  Christian was born and raised in Utah and served a mission for his church in South Africa. Upon completion of his mission, he returned home and married his wife of nearly 40 years, Kelle.

Quickly into the marriage, Christian began “self-medicating” his emotional pain with opiates, introduced by a motorcycle accident. Alcohol soon followed, along with gambling, pornography, inappropriate relationships outside of marriage, and finally the “coup de grace”…crack cocaine.  Spiritually bankrupt and with family, friends, neighbors, God, and especially with himself.

When one looks for a change in a person, they look for someone who is being honest, who is dependable, good with people, and works hard – this is who Christian is now.  Click the link in my bio and you will be inspired by his amazing story.
