Dakota Mortensen

Episode #294

Dakota Mortensen has been struggling with addiction since he was 17, only to have it completely take everything he loved. It took his basketball scholarship and he suffered the pains of divorce.  Dakota now feels like addiction has been the biggest blessing in his life and he is forever thankful for how much it has allowed him to grow, especially having more compassion and understanding for those who suffer.  Dakota’s dream now is one day to start his own rehab center and also work with kids who are going through trauma and addiction.  

Dakota hopes to be able to share something he learned from this to help anyone who is listening.  His story will inspire you to believe you can do anything and overcome your own struggles.  You are going to love him.
