Meet Catie Cartisano, MSW, LCSW, LSUDC, a walking miracle with a story that will leave you in awe. With a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work, coupled with Advanced Substance Use Disorder training from the University of Utah, Catie boasts 13 years of expertise. Specializing in family systems, trauma treatment, experiential techniques, and attachment-focused therapy, she has made a significant impact in various roles at non-profit facilities, federal and government agencies, working with diverse populations, including combat veterans, high-acuity mental health patients, and inmates.

As a Certified Trauma Therapist trained in EMDR and other evidenced-based modalities, Catie brings innovative therapeutic approaches to her practice, addressing trauma at its core and healing attachment wounds. Originating from southern Oklahoma, she relocated to UT at 17 and now serves as a partner and chief clinical officer of Balance House, a men’s program in SLC, UT. A dedicated professional and advocate, Catie is also an Olympic weightlifter, snowboarder, wake surfer, and competitive dressage rider, holding profound passions for horses, books, Lake Powell, and the desert.
