Mark Jorgensen founded Desert Solace with his wife Jerri in 2011 following his own journey of recovery from pornography addiction. After being exposed to pornography at a young age, Mark suffered in silence and shame for more than 30 years before circumstances and a good friend compelled him to be willing to face his addiction and the inner demons that fueled it. He created Desert Solace with the hope that by stepping through that shame and sharing his story with others, they might be able to find that same hope and inner peace.
