Blu Robinson is transforming lives one person at a time through his authentic approach in assisting individuals dealing with addiction. As a renowned Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) and Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC), he is the founder of Addict to Athlete. Blu’s upbringing in a dysfunctional home led to struggles with substance abuse and other challenges due to childhood trauma. Since 1996, he has maintained sobriety, turning his personal challenges into a message of hope for others. 

Specializing in addiction treatment, Blu is fervent about supporting others. With over two decades of experience in counseling and recovery since 2001, he has worked extensively with youths, adults, and families. Using passion, purpose, attentive listening, and meaning, he guides individuals in replacing negative behaviors with the attributes of an inspirational athlete. Blu’s personal achievements in various endurance events, including multiple marathons, ultra-cycling races, triathlons, and ultra-marathons, have taught him the immense strength of the human spirit.
