This dire situation led to extensive hospitalization and several years of therapy.

By age 16, Mandi had fallen into a pattern of alcohol consumption, and marijuana use, and eventually discovered methamphetamine. As time went on, she found herself caught in a turbulent cycle, bouncing from one place to another, from motel room to motel room, as she grappled with addictions to heroin, methadone, Methamphetamine, and benzodiazepines.

However, in March of 2016, a pivotal moment arrived when Mandi’s parents made a last-ditch effort to save her life. They arranged for her to travel to Utah for treatment, and she was admitted to a program called The Haven. It was within the confines of this program that Mandi experienced a transformative turning point.

Today, Mandi has successfully overcome her addictions and emerged as a beacon of light, touching the lives of all those she encounters. She serves as an inspiring example of triumph over adversity, and her presence in the world contributes to making it a better place.
